The Karma is powered by two electric motors making a total of 536 horsepower and 550 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to the two rear wheels. In addition, the Karma Revero GT has a 1.5L turbocharged engine that runs on gasoline and is used to charge the battery. Also used to charge the battery, is a solar panel on the roof, aiding range on brighter, sunnier days. Fisker claims a 50-mile range with just battery power, while dipping into the gasoline engine, extends this to a 360 miles total range.
The Revero GT doesn't have any set trim levels, instead including nearly everything with the base vehicle, though styling options are customizable, such as selecting from a variety of 21-inch wheels and a range of interior leather colors.
The infotainment system is a huge improvement over the old Fisker Karma, with the Revero GT featuring a modern 10-inch touchscreen with a vastly improved navigation system featuring real-time traffic display. Bluetooth comes standard as does Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, each pumping out music over a 635-Watt sound system, with 8-speakers including a subwoofer.
More standard convenient features on the Revero GT include power folding heated mirrors, remote keyless entry with remote engine start, heated leather steering wheel, dual-zone climate control. three USB ports and mobile hotspot integration.
From the safety side, driver assistance systems standard on the Revero GT include a lane-departure warning system with forward collision warning, automatic wipers and lights, surround view camera, parking sensors and a tire pressure monitoring system.
The Revero GT also features a total of eight airbags, including two-stage driver and passenger airbags, knee airbags and full-length side curtain airbags.
For 2020, the Revero GT gets multiple updates including a revamped turbo charged engine from BMW, which brings increased horsepower over prior years. The GT sedan is now lighter, plus has a retuned ride and handling system.
The Revero GT is far from a cheap car, putting it in competition with cars like the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe. And while the Karma Revero GT can't quite keep up with the level of luxury offered in the Mercedes-Benz, the Revero GT offers exclusivity and style while utilizing a unique hybrid drivetrain. The Revero GT has a short electric only range but travels far enough and the car will simply switch on the gasoline engine to recharge the batteries.
